John Boadu writes…

I spent this day touring some constituency polling centres within the Greater Accra Region to monitor the ongoing parliamentary primaries of the party in our “orphan constituencies”. The process has been extremely smooth with the delegates of the party, once again rising to the occasion and showing maturity in the conduct of the polls.

Equally, the various aspiring parliamentary candidates lived up to expectations in abiding by the rules of engagement before, during and after the primaries. The report reaching my office from all the regions is not any different.

On behalf of the party, I congratulate all the contestants, officials, the media, delegates and sympathizers of the great elephant family for this successful milestone. The day has produced only one winner, and that winner is certainly no particular individual but the NPP as a collective.

I humbly implore all our sympathisers and the general Ghanaian public to rally behind the now parliamentary candidates of the NPP in these “orphan constituencies” and work in UNITY to snatch a lot of these Seats from the NDC and increase our overwhelming majority in parliament to continue delivering prosperity to the Ghanaian people.

With the NPP, the purported alternative can only be scary. In fact, the alternative, as Ghanaians have come to know, is indeed SCARY. The way remains FORWARD..
