KWABENA ABANKWAH-YEBOAH – N P P NATIONAL TREASURER TOURS SOME REGISTRATION CENTRES IN VOLTA ,EASTERN AND GREATER ACCRA DURING THE VOTER REGISTRATION EXERCISE CONDUCTED BY ELECTORAL COMMISSION WHICH OFFICIALLY ENDED ON THE 9TH OF AUGUST 2020.

The National Treasurer of the NPP, Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah( By the Grace of God ) on 4th, 6th and 8th of August, 2020 toured some Voter registration centres in Volta ,Eastern and Greater Accra Regions respectively to encourage,monitor and advice Party agents ,some constituency and Regional executives on their diligence, good efforts and sacrifices made during the recent Voter Registration exercise and to advice registration personnel to work diligently and be committed to the interest of Ghana.

In the Volta Region, he visited some registration centres in some selected constituencies namely South Tongu, Anlo, keta, Ketu South, Ketu North, Akatsi South and the newly commissioned radio station( Sand City Radio ) office complex built by the Regional Chairman. The National Treasurer was accompanied by the Regional Chairman, Mr. Kofi Makafui Woanyah, some regional and constituency executives, Parliamentary candidates and District Chief Executives of the districts within the constituencies he visited.

He did appreciated the work of Regional Executives and the constituencies executives and praised them for their commitment and mobilizations towards the Voter registration exercise and being able to ensure that the register shall be free from non Ghanaian registered voters. He was hopeful that the December election shall show a different trend in favour of N P P in the Volta Region

In the Eastern Region, similarly he visited some selected registration centers in some selected constituencies with Regional 1st Vice Chairman, Alhaji Omar Bodinga, Communication director Mr Prah ,some Regional and constituency executives as well as some District Chief Executives and Parliamentary candidates . The visit took him to Akwapim South, Akwapim North, New Juaben South, New Juaben North and Suhum Constituencies.

At each registration centre, the NPP National Treasurer interacted with the EC registration officials and expressed satisfaction at the conduct of the exercise and donated some PPE to the centres as he had done in Volta region. In Greater Accra the National Treasurer visited the district registration centers during the mop- up period with the Deputy Regional secretary – Baba Seidu ,Regional Organiser and the Regional Deputy Organiser.This took him to Ayawaso west wougon, Ayawaso North,Klottey Korle, La Dadekotopon and Ledzokuko district registration centers. The National Treasurer was also accompanied on the Regional tour by his special Assistance Humphrey Ayim Darke and Staff at National Treasurer’s Office in the New Patriotic Party Headquarters.
