VICE PRESIDENT OF WORLD BANK AFRICA VISITS VICE PRESIDENT OF GHANA

On Monday, 25th March, 2019, the World Bank Africa Vice President, Dr. Hafez Ghanem was the guest to Vice President Dr. Bawumia at the Jubilee House, as part of a three-day mission to Ghana.

They discussed issues pertaining to the macroeconomic, fiscal and monetary policies which have created opportunities for investing in education especially the Free SHS programme and the booming digital economy.

Dr. Ghanem praised the government for the digital transformation of Ghana and pledged the World Bank’s support to help Ghana achieve financial inclusion.
