Mama Kate Wishes All Muslims A Happy Eid -ul-Adha

Alhamdulilla.

I wish all Muslims in Ghana, especially, our Revered National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu; the Second Family, Vice-President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his family; and Muslims around the world a happy Eid-ul-Adha.

It is my prayer that the spirit of discipline and submissiveness exhibited by our father Ibrahim to offer to sacrifice his son Ishmael permeates every facets of our lives from today and forever.

I use this occasion reiterate my call on all of us; Muslims, Christians, and all other religions, to continue to co-exist in peace and harmony that we have lived with all these years.

As we celebrate this prestigious festival, may we have the heart to make the necessary sacrifices for the betterment of our society, humanity, and our country. May the Reason for today’s festival have impact on our everyday life.
