I express my heartfelt appreciation to the and file of the party for their continuous support. Particularly for our Women, i thank you for your constant faith in me.
I really cherish this faith kept in me by our women and I don’t take it lightly at all.

I shall continue to do what I do best to help the party. Our ultimate aim is to ‘Break the 8’ and I will not relent on doing my part to ensure that this is achieved.

Yesterday, Monday 27th September 2021;

The National women organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party was honored to have been accompanied by the Member of Parliament for Oda Constituency- Hon Alexander Kwasi Acquah and Birim Central Assembly’s Municipal Chief Executive- Hon. Victoria Adu to meet and interact with Oda market women.

It was a pleasant moment as the women expressed overwhelming joy by their presence and the words of comfort, hope and assurances given to them by these dignitaries following the recent predicament at the market.

I congratulate all newly nominated Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCES), especially, the women who have been given the opportunity to serve.
It is my hope that the nominated MMDCEs will fast track and spearhead development projects in their respective areas.
With a commitment to ‘break the eight’ year governance cycle and to continue to deliver to the good people of Ghana the good policies we have initiated and are implementing, the crucial role of the MMDCEs cannot be underestimated.
I am therefore of strong conviction that the nominated MMDCEs, majority of whom have already served at their various Assemblies for some time, to fast-track the various developmental projects ongoing within their catchment areas.

I further use this opportunity to plead with all Assembly Members to hasten the approval processes without any delay.
As have been said already by several leaders of the party at different fora, I plead with all party members, supporters and sympathisers to accept the nominations in good faith and let us work together to ‘break the eight’.
I say better luck next time to all party members who put themselves up to be considered for the position but were not nominated. As it is known, there can only be one person to serve at a time. I, thus, call on them to work collaboratively with those nominated to bring development to their areas.

Finally, to the about 38 women whom the President has reposed his trust in, I urge you to use this as an opportunity to prove that the woman is very capable and further use this to create opportunities for the other women within the party and your respective areas.

The National Women Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Madam Kate Gyamfua has held a days conference for all women organizers and women executives of all smaller parties in the country. They discussed and shared issues affecting women in politics.

Resource persons who spoke at the conference encouraged them to forge in unity and also build their confidence level to help them climb higher in their field of politics.

They were also urged to learn and upgrade themselves so that they can also get more appointments when the time is due.

I wish all Muslims in Ghana, especially, our Revered National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu; the Second Family, Vice-President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his family; and Muslims around the world a happy Eid-ul-Adha.

It is my prayer that the spirit of discipline and submissiveness exhibited by our father Ibrahim to offer to sacrifice his son Ishmael permeates every facets of our lives from today and forever.

I use this occasion reiterate my call on all of us; Muslims, Christians, and all other religions, to continue to co-exist in peace and harmony that we have lived with all these years.

As we celebrate this prestigious festival, may we have the heart to make the necessary sacrifices for the betterment of our society, humanity, and our country. May the Reason for today’s festival have impact on our everyday life.

Our fathers have been the fulcrum our lives revolve on. For many people, without a father or father figures, we would not have been where we find ourselves.
Our fathers help build our moral, social, psychological, emotional lives among others. They provide care, give us the needed support and provide the shoulders to shoulder us through life.

On this special day I wish all fathers a Happy Fathers’ Day.
Special mention is made of the President, HE Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo; the Vice-President, HE Dr Mahamudu Bawumia; the Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon Alban Kingsford Bagbin; the Chief Justice, HL Kwasi Anin-Yeboah; the National Chairman of the NPP; Freddy Blay and other leaders of the NPP; and all fathers in the country.
